Achena Uttam Trailer: Saswata and Rituparna reminds Uttam-Suchitra's chemistry

Arun Kumar Chattopadhyay, also known as Uttam Kumar, is a big name among the Bengali audience. People also called him Mahanayak. And the onscreen chemistry of Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen will always be remembered. And this time, actor Saswata Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta will take us to that time through Atanu Bose's film Achena Uttam. Through the film, director Atanu Bose will tell us the story of how Arun Kumar Chattopadhyay became Uttam Kumar. Another interesting part is that the film is a galaxy of Tollywood stars. Apart from Saswata Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta, there will be 70 more actors in the movie. 

In the film, while Saswata Chatterjee will be seen as Mahanayak Uttam Kumar, Rituparana Sengupta will play the role of Uttam Kumar's most popular co-actor Suchita Sen . Actress Ditipriya Roy who was recently seen in 'Aay Khuku Aay' will be seen as Sabitri Chatterjee. Actress Srabanti Chatterjee will be seen as Uttam Kumar's wife Gouri Devi. Actress Sneha Das will play young Gouri Devi. Anubhav Kanjilal will portray the role of Uttam Kumar's son Goutam Chatterjee. Newcomer Tirtharaj Basu will essay the role of young Uttam Kumar. Biswanath  Basu will be seen as Uttam Kumar's brother Tarun Kumar. Actress Sayantani Roy Chowdhary will play Supriya Devi. Anindya Sarkar and Sampurna  Lahiri will be seen as director Shakti Samanta and Sumitra Mukherjee. Atanu Bose's film Achena Uttam is scheduled to hit the cinema halls on 22nd July 2022.
