Actress Sriparna Roy bags a new TV show

Actress Sriparna Roy who was last seen in Kori Khela bagged a new daily soap. She will soon be seen in a brand new drama series. Prior to this, Sriparna Roy played the female lead in Kori Khela where Ananda Ghosh was seen opposite her.

As per the recent buzz, Sriparna Roy will be seen as the female lead in a brand new drama series which is likely to be aired on Zee Bangla. Sriparna Roy has already started shooting for her new show titled Rang Milanti. It will be a family drama. However, this is a working title for the series and may be changed in the future. The first promo of the show is expected to come in August.

A few days ago, Sriparna Roy was seen in a cookery show hosted by Sudipa Chatterjee. She appeared in the Rath Yatra special episode of the show. Speaking about Sriparna Roy, she is one of the most popular actresses among Bengali serial lovers. She acted in several popular television dramas. Sriparna became a household name by playing the role of Tusu in Aanchol television drama where she was seen opposite Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh. She also acted in Bengali biographical soap opera titled Netaji. Apart from television, Sriparna Roy has also been featured in Bengali films like Tonic and Kidnap.
