Bhotbhoti Movie Trailer: Tathagata Mukherjee’s film is ready to hit the theaters

Finally, the wait is over, Tathagata Mukherjee’s film ‘Bhotbhoti’ is ready to hit the theaters. Recently the trailer of  'Bhotbhoti’ film has been released on YouTube. It's a modern-day fairytale-love story that blends fiction with reality in a story of a young man Bhotbhoti and a mermaid Ariel. In the film, Rishav Basu will be seen in the titular role and Bibriti Chatterjee will play Ariel and Bhotbhoti's love interest. 

Bhotbhoti is from a slum on the banks of the Ganges. He is obsessed with his belief that there is a mermaid in the river and his fantasy becomes reality when he meets the mermaid Ariel. Apart from Rishav Basu and Bibriti Chatterjee, the film also stars Dipankar Dey, Mamata Shankar, Debleena Dutt and Rajatava Dutta in key roles. Tathagata Mukherjee himself will play a pivotal role in the film.

Tathagata Mukherjee’s film ‘Bhotbhoti’ will hit the theaters on 11th August, this year.

'Bhotbhoti’ has two sides- one is fantasy and the other side is reality and how at the end of the film the two get merged is to be seen, said the director in an interaction with ETimes.
