Actress Lekha Chatterjee joins the cast of the new TV Serial Roshnai

Actress Lekha Chatterjee, who has been a part of several films and television dramas including Jongole Mitin Mashi, Phaguner Mohona, and Jibon Saathi, has bagged a new role in a brand-new television drama Roshnai. Lekha Chatterjee also plays a pivotal role in the romantic drama series, starring Sean Banerjee and Anushka Goswami. Chatterjee has already joined the cast and started shooting for the show Roshnai which starts from 25th of April.

Lekha Chatterjee has been roped in by the makers of ''Roshnai'' to play a pivotal role opposite Sean Banerjee in the show. While Sean Banerjee and Anushka Goswami are playing love birds, Lekha's character will be seen creating complications in their relationship on the show.

The channel has released a new promo for the show Roshnai, featuring Lekha Chatterjee alongside the lead pair Sean Banerjee and Anushka Goswami.

Apart from Sean Banerjee, Anushka Goswami, and Lekha Chatterjee, the show has a strong cast including Kamalika Banerjee, Reshmi Sen, Usashi Chakraborty, and Sudip Mukherjee in pivotal roles.

Speaking about Lekha Chatterjee, she has been a part of the Bengali entertainment industry for years. Chatterjee rose to fame for her portrayal of Keka in Star Jalsha show Bijoyinee. Later, she bagged a key role in Zee Bangla's Jibon Saathi, starring Diya Basu, Sayan Karmakar, Shrabani Bunia, and Rudrajit Mukherjee in lead roles. She also acted in Abir Chatterjee and Sohini Sarkar-Starrer film Byomkesh Hatyamancha.

Apart from all these, Lekha Chatterjee is also starring in Arindam Sil's upcoming movie  Ekti Khunir Sondhane Mitin. Starring Koel Mallick in the lead role, the detective thriller is scheduled to release on the occasion of Durga Puja 2024.
