Bonny-Koushani pair up for Sayan Basu Chowdhury's thriller film Rater Shahar

Bonny Sengupta and Koushani Mukherjee who are mostly seen together in romantic dramas, will be paired in a thriller this time. Sayan Basu Chowdhury's next film Rater Shahar, a thriller drama film has been taken up by Bonny Sengupta and Koushani Mukherjee as the lead pair. Director Sayan Basu Chowdhury has already released the first look of the characters in the film.

In the film, film Bonny Sengupta will play the role of Arka and Koushani Mukherjee will play Priyanka and Bonny's love interest. In the first look, Bonny is seen in a yellow t-shirt with blue jeans and there is also a gun in his hand and the other hand, Koushani is seen in light pink Salwar kameez and it looks like she's holding Bonny's hand in fear of something.

Speaking about the film, it is set on a night when Priyanka missed her last train. Luckily Priyanka meets Arka who decides to reach her home safely. But the night becomes a nightmare for both of them when a dreadful killer starts chasing them. How Arka and Priyanka deal with the situation and survived is the crux of the story. Apart from Bonny Sengupta and Koushani Mukherjee, actress Alokananda Guha will play a key role in the film. Actor Rishiraj will play the negative character in the film. 

Musicians Savvy and Amit Mishra will handle the music department of the film. If all goes according to plan, director Sayan Basu Chowdhury will start shooting for the film from this month.
