Raj Chakraborty to make his Hindi directional debut with Sai Pallavi

Filmmaker Raj Chakraborty who made superhit Bengali films like Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, Challenge, and Parineeta, is all set to make his Hindi directorial debut. Over the past few days, a buzz spreads in the industry and among fans that the commercially successful filmmaker of Tollywood is gearing up to make a Bollywood debut. A few days ago, it was heard that he is working with Alia Bhatt and later it was known that Bollywood Diva Kriti Sanon will be seen in his film.

As per the recent buzz, Raj Chakraborty is going to make his next project for Bollywood fans. But it's not a film. Raj Chakraborty is going to make his first web series in Hindi. If sources are to be believed, the web series is a remake of super hit Bengali film Parineeta. Yes, you heard it right. Raj Chakraborty is going to make a Hindi remake of Parineeta where Subhashree Ganguly and Ritwick Chakraborty played the leads. The film was released in 2019 and it was a blockbuster hit at the box office. There was also a buzz that Raj Chakraborty will do a remake of Parineeta as a film. But it's all clear now. Raj Chakraborty is going to make his first Hindi web series where one of the most popular South Indian actresses Sai Pallavi will play the key role. 

Although, this is not the first time. Many Bengali talents have been seen in Bollywood. Srijit Mukherji who is one of the most successful filmmakers in Tollywood made Hindi films. Tollywood actors like Jisshu Sengupta, Saswata Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee, Paoli Dam, and  Parambrata Chatterjee have also been seen in Hindi films and web series. Recently, Abir Chatterjee has also made his debut in Hindi web series with Avrodh: The Siege Within seasons 2.
