After Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan, Raj Chakraborty's Bengali film 'Dharmajuddha' is the latest victim of boycott trend. A section of social media claims that 'Dharmajuddha' film has hurt the sentiments of Hinduism. And because of this, some people are talking about boycotting the film. The director of the film, Raj Chakraborty also opened his mouth about this.

Raj Chakraborty, the director of 'Dharmajuddha' film opened up about this controversy. In an interaction with a popular news daily, he said, ''A section of social media reacting without watching the film. I am willing to listen if someone criticizes my film. But it is not right for someone to say such things based on the name only without watching the film. Such feats are done by money. A part of people is always ready to criticize other people and their hard work''.

Raj Chakraborty also talked about this on his Twitter handle. Raj penned  ''There’s not a single scene of bloodshed or not even a single scene where slitting throats have been shown in the film. Why are you asking to boycott the film without watching it''. Raj Chakraborty also said that his film ‘Dharmajuddha’ talks about the perils of communal violence.  It aims to show that religious strife is a sad reality in this country and elsewhere in the world and ordinary citizens suffer the most. Fans supported Raj Chakraborty for his film.
