Actress Ananya Chatterjee passes away

Bengali TV actress Ananya Chatterjee, who was part of many television serials, has passed away. She played the role of mother of screen actors and actresses in most of the serials. They were all shocked to hear this news. Although Ananya Chatterjee was not very popular among the audience, she was one of the versatile actresses in the Bengali television industry.

This Friday morning (26th August), director Anindita Sarbadhikari shared this sad news on her Facebook handle. She said that she got the news from various sources. However, Anindita Sarbadhikari has not yet received any details information about when the incident took place and how she died. Sharing the news, Anindita wrote ' Ananya Di is no more. I can't even imagine. Just missing the smiling face ....'.

'Ananya Chatterjee has been acting on the small screen for a long time. Despite being a very talented and powerful actress, her name did not come into the limelight that way. But she was a part of many television drama series. I can't even imagine. I won't be able to see her smiling face again', said the director.

Actor Joyjit Banerjee who is also a well-known actor in the same industry shared the news on his Facebook handle.
