Mithai fame Tonni Laha Roy to star in Soumojit Adak's film Hridaypur

Bengali TV actress Tonni Laha Roy who became a household name for her role in Mithai, bagged a new film. Tonni Laha Roy will soon be seen on the big screen. Soumojit Adak's film Hridaypur has been taken up by Tonni Laha Roy in a key role where her co-stars are Saurav Das and Darshana Banik.

Tonni Laha Roy will be featured in Soumojit Adak's film Hridaypur alongside Saurav Das and Darshana Banik. In the film, she will play the role of Madhu aka Madhumita. Apart from these three, the film also stars Rajatava Dutta, Aishwarya Sen, Arna Mukhopadhyay, Deboprasad Halder, Rana Basu Thakur, Sawon Chakraborty, Sudeep Dhara, Payel Roy, and Barun Chakraborty in pivotal roles. The actress has shared the news through her social media handles.

Speaking about the film, it revolves around Saurav, a city boy who stays in a village due to his job. There he meets Sherya, the daughter of the village foreman. Later love blossoms between the two. But is it true love or is he just taking revenge for losing someone close to him? Soumojit Adak's Hridaypur will answer this question. The film is produced by Pradip Bajaj and Arijit Bose under White feathers production and Kolkata Films banner. 

Prior to this, Tonni Laha Roy was seen in Raja Chanda's film Ajob Premer Golpo where her co-stars were Bonny Sengupta and Srabanti Chatterjee. Now Tonni Laha bagged a new film, Besides television, the actress will also be seen on the big screen.
