Subhashree Ganguly to make OTT debut in Debaloy Bhattacharya's series 'Indubala Bhater Hotel'

Actress Subhashree Ganguly is all set to make her OTT debut with Debaloy Bhattacharya's web series 'Indubala Bhater Hotel'. 'Boudi Canteen' actress is very excited about her new venture ahead of the release of her film Dharmajuddha which will hit the theaters on 11th August.

Sharing her excitement, Subhashree said: “First of all I am very excited to make my OTT debut and that too with a platform like hoichoi, it is the leading Bengali OTT platform and has a lot of quality content that 'Indubala Bhater Hotel' will soon be a part of!" I always wanted to work with Debaloy Bhattacharya, and this series provides me with the opportunity to do so. I look forward to it and I'm sure the entire team will work super hard to make this a success."

'Indubala Bhaater Hotel' has a very interesting story. It revolves around Indu (Subhashree) a young girl from East Pakistan's Kalpota village in Khulna. Marrying a drunkard from Kolkata, Indu becomes a widow with a kid, at a very tender age. Her story takes a turn the day East Pakistan became Bangladesh. The stove of 'Indubala Bhater Hotel' was lit for the first time with the small savings that Indu managed to acquire with the help of a Bihari fisherwoman Lachmi.

It's a story of both the Bengals (West Bengal and Bangladesh) and a woman's journey in this city.  If everything goes according to plan, Debaloy Bhattacharya will start shooting for the series from the end of this month.
