Actress Pallavi Sharma who is also known as Joba is gearing up for a new television series. Pallavi Sharma became a household name for playing Joba opposite Biswajit Ghosh in Ke Apon Ke Por drama series. Ke Apon Ke Por is one of the most successful television series not only in Bengali television but also in the history of Indian television. The show ended its journey on TV in December 2020, but fans are yet to get over the vibe of Joba. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Pallavi Sharma on screen again. However, now their wish is likely to come true.

There is a strong buzz in the industry that Pallavi Sharma will soon be seen in a new daily soap that will air on Zee Bangla. The channel will even produce the series in which Pallavi Sharma will be the leading lady. Another rumor has it that actor Rubel Das, who played the male lead in Jamuna Dhaki, will be seen opposite Pallavi Sharma in the new series.

According to the sources, the upcoming project is in the initial stage. The makers of the show will start working on it after this PUJO season. Although Pallavi Sharma did not open her about this. However, if all goes according to the buzz, Zee Bangla's upcoming serial will have a new on-screen Jodi of Pallavi Sharma and Rubel Das.

In an interaction with Anandabazar Patrika, Pallavi Sharma said ' I wanted a little break. I want to come out of the mold of Joba's character and win the hearts of the audience in a completely new way.
