Ballabhpurer Roopkotha: The official trailer of Anirban Bhattachary's horror comedy is out now

Actor Anirban Bhattacharya, who made his directorial debut with the Bengali crime drama web series Mandaar is not ready to release his directional debut film Ballabhpurer Roopkotha on the silver screen. A few days ago, the makers shared a teaser for the film and the short video clip with snappy dialogues and smart jump cuts has increased the excitement level about the film among fans.

And today (28th September), the official trailer of Anirban Bhattacharya's horror comedy 'Ballabhpurer Roopkotha' is out now. The film is based on Badal Sircar’s eponymous play.  'Ballabhpurer Roopkotha' revolves around the family of a young zamindar, who is struggling to survive after losing almost all his family's money and now owns only a palace. He wants to sell the property and when he manages to get a buyer the mansion's dark past comes into play and things go awry. What happens next is the crux of the film.

Actor Satyam Bhattacharya and actress Surangana Bandyopadhyay will be the lead pair in the film. Apart from them, the film also stars Shyamal Chakraborty, Kripabindu Chowdhury, Surajit Sarkar, Sumanta Roy, Debraj Bhattacharya, Sandip Bhattacharya, Jhulan Bhattacharya, and Shyamal Sarkar in pivotal roles. 

Anirban Bhattachary's horror comedy 'Ballabhpurer Roopkotha' will hit the theaters on 21st October, the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
