Actor Indraneil Sengupta who will play Feluda in Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri has got a new film where he will be seen playing the role of a police officer. Bratya Basu's upcoming film Hubba has been taken up by Indraneil Sengupta and Mosharraf Karim in lead roles. Well, Mosharraf Karim was also seen in Bratya Basu's film Dictionary where his co-stars were Abir Chatterjee and Nusrat Jahan among others.

The two prominent stars will be seen in the centric roles of the film. Where Indraneil Sengupta will play the role of IPS officer Dibakar Mitra, Mosharraf Karim will be seen as a Don opposite him. Initially, Jisshu Sengupta was supposed to play the police officer's character in the film, but Jisshu Sengupta has several films in his kitty where he needs a bearded look, so the makers chose Indranil Sengupta as the film required a police officer with clean-shaven.

Apart from Mosharraf Karim and Indraneil Sengupta, the film also stars Poulami Basu and Loknath Dey in pivotal roles. The screenplay of the film is based on Abar Goyendapith, written by Supratim Sarkar. The director has already wrapped up the first schedule of shooting and the second schedule will start after this Puja season. Firdaus Hasan and Prabal Halder who earlier produced Bratya Basu's film Dictionary will also produce this film under 'Friends Communication' banner. If all goes according to plan, the film will be released in the summer of 2023.
