Actress Pallavi Dey, who passed away in May 2022, will soon be seen in a new TV series. Yes, you heard that right. Popular entertainment channel Star Jalsha is bringing a much awaited show Vikram Betaal. Where actor Joy Kumar Mukherjee and Subhasish Mukherjee will play the lead roles, Pallavi Dey will be seen in a few episodes of 'Vikram Betaal'.

Joy Kumar Mukherjee will play the role of Vikram and Subhasish Mukherjee will be seen in the role of Betaal and actress Adrija Addy Roy will be seen as Vikram's wife Rani Karnabati. Surinder Films, the Production company of the show, completed the shooting of the show almost a year ago. It was initially supposed to be aired on Sun Bangla, but now the production house has decided to bring the show to one of the leading entertainment channels. The show starts on 5th September and will be telecast at 5 pm on the screen of Star Jalsha.

Pallavi Dey was last seen in Mon Mane Na serial where her co-star was Samm Bhattacharya. On May 2022, Pallavi Dey was found dead at her home in Kolkata. According to the police report, she was found hanging from a ceiling fan. In-fact Pallavi's father has alleged that Pallavi was killed by her live-in partner Sagnik. Sagnik was also arrested by the police on the charge of inciting the actress to commit suicide. But the case has not been solved yet. However, the audience will get a chance to see Pallavi again on screen through this show.
