Leena Gangopadhyay to make a web series on Sabitri Chattopadhyay

Leena Gangopadhyay who is mostly known for writing and producing Bengali Television drama is all set to step into the digital platform. Leena Gangopadhyay is one of the most talented writers in the Bengali Television industry who gave shows like Ishti Kutum, Chokher Tara Tui, Ichche Nodee, Sreemoyee, and Khorkuto to the audience. 

Now Leena Gangopadhyay is going to make a web series on Sabitri Chattopadhyay's life. There was speculation in the industry for a long time, but now it has been confirmed. Leena Gangopadhyay said, 'I want to bring Sabitri Chattopadhyay's story to the audience through a web series. But the audience will have to wait as everything is still in its early stages'.

Currently, the audience is watching a bunch of her shows including 'Ekka Dokka', 'Guddi' on the small screen.

Apart from television, Leena Gangopadhyay has also worked for the big screen. Leena Gangpadhyay has made Bengali films like Bhalo Thako, Maati, Sanjhbati and Khelaghor. She made her first television drama in 2004 titled Shonar Horin, the was aired on ETV Bangla.
