Sweta Bhattacharya and Rubel Das are both familiar faces among the Bengali audience. They have been seen together in 'Jamuna Dhaki' where Sweta Bhattacharya played the titular role and Rubel Das was her love interest. Even after the end of the series, Sweta and Rubal have been seen together many times off-screen. 

Rubel's birthday was this month. Sweta went to his house to celebrate his birthday. Although in this context Sweta said, 'No, not love. 'We are just good friends'. Most of the time, actors don't meet each other after their projects are over, but that didn't happen with us.'

But now, the recent pictures from Sweta Bhattacharya's birthday celebrations have created the same buzz that Sweta Bhattacharya and Rubel Das are dating each other. Rubel appeared with a cake at midnight to celebrate Sweta's birthday. Sweta shared some pictures of her birthday celebration with her family on social media, and Rubel's face was beaming there.

When Sweta Bhattacharya was asked about this, she replied that Rubel and she are good friends. 'He is very close to me. But we are not in a relationship now. We have known each other for the last 15 years and we have worked together in Jamuna Dhaki. My family also likes him. But I don't want to comment on our relationship right now. We will let you know when we make a decision on this relationship ourselves'.
