Finally, the wait is over. The official trailer of Saptaswa Basu's upcoming film Jotugriho is out now. The film has been taken up by Parambrata Chatterjee and Bonny Sengupta in the lead roles. Bonny Sengupta, who mostly plays jolly characters will be seen in a completely different avatar in this film like never seen before. While Bonny Sengupta will enact the centric role, Parambrata Chatterjee will essay a key role along with Bonny. Parambrata Chatterjee will be seen as a church father cum priest in this film.

Apart from Parambrata Chatterjee and Bonny Sengupta, the film also stars Paayel Sarkar and debutant Piyali Chakraborty in pivotal roles. Actor Anshu Bach, who was seen in superhit Bengali films like M.L.A Fatakesto and Bandhan will play an important role in this film alongside Parambrata Chatterjee and Bonny Sengupta.

Saptaswa Basu's film Jotugriho a horror genre film which is produced by Raktim Chatterjee who is also the co-producer of Mirza.

Recently, the makers dropped the official trailer of Jotugriho on YouTube, and it has revived rave reviews from both audiences and critics. It is a short clip of 2 minutes and 6 seconds which gives goosebumps to the audience with its spooky sequences. The trailer starts with a male voice-over where Rehan is narrating his story. And it also introduces Parambrata Chatterjee as a church father.

The story of the film revolves around Rehan playing by Bonny Sengupta.  Rehan got a job as a hotel manager in a hilly area named Nishadgunj. He was happy to get to work as usual and started working with concentration. The story takes a turn when Rehan falls in love with a native girl.
