TV show Amar Sona Chander Kona to end its journey

Bengali Television is bringing a number of new shows, and at the same time many entertainment channels are shutting down their ongoing shows. And this time, Ravi Shaw and Jasmine Roy starrer serial Amar Sona Chander Kona has been added to that list. The show premiered in March 2022 and the show is going to end its journey in just six months.

Last Wednesday (7th September) was the last day of shooting for the show and the final episode of Amar Sona Chander Kona will air in the second week of this September. The new drama series Alor Thikana will replace the show. For the first time Ravi Shaw and Jasmine Roy were seen opposite each other on screen through this show. The onscreen chemistry of Ravi Shaw and Jasmine Roy was also acclaimed by the audience but still, it failed to make a mark on the TRP charts. It was initially heard that the broadcast time of the show would be changed. But the makers have decided to end the show. The lead actress of the show, Jasmine Roy also confirmed this. 

Several TV serials have ended their journey in the last few months due to insufficient TRPs. Many popular shows like Mon Phagun, Khorkuto, and Aay Tobe Sohochori have been closed due to insufficient TRP numbers. And now Sun Bangla's other show Amar Sona Chander Kona will end its journey soon.
