A fire broke out at the studio of Eskay Movies in South Kolkata

Eskay Movies, one of the well-known film production companies that has produced super hit films like Chore Chore Mastuto Bhai, Le Chakka, and Wanted faced a tragic incident this morning (13th October). 

A massive fire broke out at the studio of Eskay Movies in South Kolkata's Kudghat area on Thursday (October 13). The fire officials were rushed to the spot and the fire was doused after two hours. According to the fire department, 15 firefighters were pressed to douse the blaze which has now been brought under control.

The fire gutted the studio's expensive equipment, and no casualty was reported in the incident. Thick smoke billowing out of the production house is located at 27, Baburam Ghosh road in Kolkata's Kudghat area could be seen from a far distance. However, the cause of the fire is still unknown. Bengal Minister Aroop Biswas went to the spot and oversees the situation.
