Actor Rajatava Dutta to play a cop in Soumik Chattopadhyaya's crime thriller 'Inspector Nalinikanta'

Actor Rajatava Dutta, who is mostly seen in negative roles, will soon be seen in a completely different avatar in his next. Rajatava Dutta will be seen playing the role of a cop in Soumik Chattopadhyaya's series 'Inspector Nalinikanta'. It's a story of love, extramarital affair, revenge, and crime. The series will be streaming on one of the popular Bengali OTT platforms 'KLIKK'.

Apart from Rajatava Dutta the series also stars Mishka Halim, Subrata Dutta, Rupsha Chatterjee, Goutam Sarkar, and Chhandak Chowdhury in pivotal roles. While Rajatava Dutta will play the titular role Subrata Dutta will play the second lead, Dr. Aditya Sen.

The story follows Dr. Aditya Sen who has an extramarital affair with one of his patients named Nisha. The story takes a turn when he learns that his wife Sharmila might also be having an affair and Sharmila also realizes Nisha is more than a patient to Aditya. The doctor plans to murder his wife Sharmila and tries to make it look like a burglary. The situation gets complicated when Sharmila dies in the hospital. Inspector Nalinikanta starts his investigation and soon discovers that there is more to the crime. What happens next is the crux of the story.
