Rishav Basu and Ipsita Mukherjee to pair up in Prosenjit-Rituparna's film

Both Rishav Basu and Ipsita Mukherjee are familiar faces among Bengali audiences. Rishav Basu is mostly known for his work in web series and films and the other hand, Ipsita Mukherjee became a household name for playing various characters in Bengali television dramas. And now these two popular stars will be seen together in a romantic film.

Rishav Basu and Ipsita Mukherjee will be seen opposite each other in Samrat Sharma's film 'Prosenjit Weds Rituparna' where they will share the screen with the most-loved duo Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta. A poster teaser of 'Prosenjit Weds Rituparna' has been released on last Valentine's Day. Everyone guessed that the much-talked-about pair Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta's chemistry would be seen again on screen. But it's all cleared now. Taking to social media recently, Prosenjit Chatterjee shared a short video clip with Rituparna Sengupta and introduced the film's lead pair to the audience. It is likely that Prosenjit and Rituparna will act in cameo roles and Rishav Basu & Ipsita Mukherjee will be the lead pair in the film. 

The film will hit the cinema halls on 25th November 2022.

Ipsita Mukherjee has been a part of many popular television dramas like Keya Patar Nouko, Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni, Alo Chhaya, etc. She played the lead role in Chokher Tara Tui. Currently, she is playing some interesting roles in Dhulokona and Ekka Dokka.

Actor Rishav Basu has come from a theater background. He made a mark with his performance in 'Mittir Parar Maradona'. He has acted in many web series and films like Turu Love, Srikanto, Mahabharat Murders, Iskaboner Rani, Bhotbhoti and Aparajito, etc.
