Ditipriya, Arna, Susmita, and Rishav teamed up for Anshuman Pratyush's film Annapurna

Ahead of Ogo Bideshini, Filmmaker Anshuman Pratyush, who has previously directed films like Panther: Hindustan Meri Jaan, SOS Kolkata, and Nirbhaya announced a new film titled Annapurna which has an ensemble cast including National Award winner actress Ananya Chatterjee, and some young actors like Ditipriya Roy, Arna Mukhopadhyay, Susmita Chatterjee and Rishav Basu. 

Ditipriya Roy, Arna Mukhopadhyay, Susmita Chatterjee, and Rishav Basu all are familiar faces among Bengali audiences. Ditipriya Roy became a household name for playing Rani Rashmoni on TV and Susmita Chatterjee has earned popularity for playing Raji in Prem Tame. On the other side, Arna Mukhopadhyay and Rishav Basu made their mark in the industry with their power-packed performances in films and web series. 

And now these young stars will be seen together in Anshuman Pratyush's drama film Annapurna. While Ananya Chatterjee will play the titular role, Ditipriya Roy will be seen as her daughter Anandi and Arna Mukhopadhyay will play Anandi's husband Atanu. Rishav Basu will essay Roni and Susmita Chatterjee will play the role of Trisha. Apart from them, the film will also have some prominent actors from the industry like Shantilal Mukherjee, Kanchan Mullick, and Anusha Vishwanathan in other important roles.

Speaking about the film, it is about the relationship between Annapurna and her daughter Anandi. Anandi lives in London with her husband Atanu. After moving in with her daughter, Annapurna suffers from loneliness. The story takes a turn when Annapurna meets Roni and Trisha. Annapurna realizes that women are more mature than men. Will Anandi be able to handle the responsibilities of being a daughter properly? The answer will be found at the end of the film.
