Indraneil Sengupta shares the teaser of Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri

One of the much-awaited films in 2022, Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri is finally ready to hit the cinema halls. The film will hit theaters on December 23, the auspicious occasion of Christmas. Ever since the announcement of the film, Bengali audiences have been eagerly waiting for the film's release. Feluda aka Pradosh Chandra Mitra (Mitter) is a much-loved sleuth among Bengali audiences. Feluda is not just a name, it's an emotion. 

Taking to social media, Indraneil Sengupta shared the teaser of Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri. The film has already created a buzz as 'Hatyapuri' is one of Feluda's most popular books, even Satyajit Ray himself said, 'Hatyapuri' was his favorite among Feluda's stories. There were many speculations about who will play the role of Feluda in the film. Finally, Indranil Sengupta has been roped for the role in this thriller. In the teaser, Feluda, Topse, and Jatayu are seen entering a dilapidated house in Puri.

While Indraneil Sengupta will portray the character of Bengali's favorite sleuth Feluda aka Pradosh Chandra Mitra (Mitter), Ayush Das will be seen in Topshe's character and Abhijeet Guha will be seen as Jatayu aka Lalmohan Ganguly in Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri. Apart from them, the film also stars Subhasish Mukherjee, Paran Bandopadhyay, and Bharat Kaul in pivotal roles. Actor Shaheb Chattopadhyay will be seen playing the main villain in this thriller.
