John Bhattacharya to play a cop in his new web series

One of the most handsome and charming actors John Bhattacharya, who is currently playing the male lead in daily soap Alor Thikana, has bagged a new web series where he will be seen in the role of a cop. For the first time, John Bhattacharya will be seen in such a role through hoichoi's new series 'The Bengal Scam: Bima Kando', directed by Abhirup Ghosh.

In the series, Bhattacharya will play a key role as Yasin Khan, a CID officer, where his co-stars are Rajatava Dutta, Kinjal Nanda, and Sonamoni Saha among others. While Sonamoni and Kinjal Nanda will be the lead pair, Rajatava Dutta will play the role of the main antagonist and John will be an investigation officer in the series. 

Speaking about the story, It revolves around an insurance company where the policyholder dies mysteriously after an insurance claim. Are these really accidents or planned murders? On behalf of the insurance company, Kinjal Nanda and Sonamani's characters goes to the spot to investigate and found a lot of surprising information. What happens next is the crux of the story.

Hoichoi's new series 'The Bengal Scam: Bima Kando' starts streaming from 11th November.
