| Model Arpita Ghosh to make her TV debut with 'Mithai' serial |
The makers recently added a new track to the story of 'Mithai' where we see Mithai's untimely death and Mithai-Siddharth's son Shakya growing up. Meanwhile, the new track already introduced Mithi, a twist where the protagonist dies and a look-alike with minor changes in attire and attitude, suddenly appears. Mithi arrives at Monohora as Shakya’s teacher and leaves everyone shocked as she looks just like their beloved Mithai. Mithi arrives at Monohora as Shakya’s teacher, who is modern, has curly hair, wears western outfit, and can speak fluently in English.
The new plot of the show introduced several new characters including some popular faces like Ashmita Chakraborty and Samm Bhattacharya. Interestingly, Arpita Ghosh, who has worked as a model prior to this, made her television debut with this show.
Arpita Ghosh has bagged a pivotal role in the show opposite protagonist Adrit Roy. She has been roped for the role of Soumi. Arpita's character seems to a negative role who will create some new twist and turns in the story.

Speaking about Arpita Ghosh, she is one of the well-known models in Kolkata. She has already been featured in several popular brands like Sananda Magazine, Baazar Kolkata, P.C. Chandra Jewellers. And prior to this TV serial, she acted in Soumik Halder directed web series Mahabharat Murders where she played the role of Devika Lahiri.
