New TV show 'Panchomi' Starring Susmita Dey; Watch the promo

Here is a piece of good news for all serial lovers. You will have another new show on your TV screen. Another popular entertainment channel, Star Jalsha recently announced a new serial titled 'Panchomi' which will have some prominent stars including Susmita Dey. Today (November 10), the channel officially announced the show and released a promo for it. 

The new TV show 'Panchomi' features Susmita Dey in the lead role. Apart from Susmita, the serial also features Kaushik Banerjee in a pivotal role. There is also a strong buzz in the industry that the series also features actor Rajdeep Gupta as the male lead. The promo of the show has already created a buzz among fans for its unique concept. Actress Sushmita De who was earlier seen in Aparajita Apu and Bouma Ekghor will be seen in a completely different avatar in 'Panchomi' that will be telecast on Star Jalsha.

Talking about the show, its plot is built on a mythological backdrop that revolves around Susmita Dey's character who was born mysteriously in a temple.

The same channel is about to launch another new drama series called 'Bangla Medium' starring Tiyasha Lepcha, Neel Bhattacharya, and Sampurna Lahiri in the lead roles. The rival channel has announced several new shows and two of them are slated to launch this month. It will be more difficult for new shows to make a mark on the TRP charts.
