Rajdeep Gupta to pair up with Susmita Dey in Star Jalsha's show Panchomi

Actor Rajdeep Gupta, who made his television debut with 'Ogo Bodhu Sundori', will soon be seen on the TV screen. Rumors were rife for the past few months that Rajdeep Gupta would play the male lead in Star Jalsha's new show Panchomi. But now the channel has confirmed the news and revealed the main lead characters of their new show Panchomi. Yes, Rajdeep Gupta will essay the male lead opposite Susmita Dey in the brand-new show.

Star Jalsha's new series Panchomi features Rajdeep Gupta and Susmita Dey as the lead pair including some popular stars like Kaushik Banerjee and Sneha Chatterjee in other key roles. The show starts from 5th December and will be telecast Monday to Sunday at 8.30 pm on the screen of Star Jalsha. 

Well, Rajdeep Gupta and Susmita Dey will be seen as a reel pair for the first time. Susmita Dey was earlier seen in Bouma Ekghor and Aparajita Apu while Rajdeep Gupta is making a comeback to the television screen after a long time.

In the last few years, Rajdeep Gupta has been seen only on digital platforms. He acted in several web series like Japani Toy, Mismatch, Rahasya Romancha Series, Murder in the Hills, and Mahabharat Murders, etc. Another interesting fact is that actress Nabanita Das, who played the female lead in Mahapeeth Tarapeeth, was supposed to play the female lead opposite Rajdeep in the show. Anyway, all the confusion is clear now.
