Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri to release this December

Finally, the wait is about to end. One of the much-awaited films Hatyapuri, directed by Sandip Ray gets a release date. Bengali's favorite sleuth, Feluda will soon be seen on the silver screen. Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri is all set to hit the cinema halls on 23rd December, the auspicious occasion of Christmas.

Today (November 11), taking to social media, the makers and the stars shared the first official poster and also revealed the release date of the film. Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri features Indraneil Sengupta as Feluda aka Pradosh Chandra Mitra [Mitter]. The film also features Ayush Das as Topshe and Abhijeet Guha as Jatayu aka Lalmohan Ganguly. Apart from them, the film also stars Subhasish Mukherjee, Paran Bandopadhyay and Bharat Kaul in pivotal roles. Actor Shaheb Chattopadhyay will be seen playing the main villain in this thriller.

Director Sandip Ray had to shelve the film as the original producers did not agree with him about the casting of the film. Later director Sandip Ray joined hands with other producers to make his film Hatyapuri. The film will be released under 'Shadow Films' and 'Ghosal Media and Entertainment' banners.

In Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri, we will see Feluda on a vacation in Puri along with Topshe and Jatayu where they get involved in a murder mystery. Besides direction, Sandip Ray will also handle the music department of the film while Soumik Haldar will be in charge of cinematography.
