TV show Sona Roder Gaan to end its journey soon

Rishi Kaushik and Payel De starrer daily soap Sona Roder Gaan is set to end its journey soon. The show premiered on 24th January and within a year, the makers decided to quit the show. The show features Rishi Kaushik and Payel De as the lead pair including some popular faces like Shoumo Banerjee, Diyettima Ganguly and Sohini Sengupta.

The team of Sona Roder Gaan already wrapped up the shoot for the show. Yesterday (21st November) was the last day of shooting for the show. As usual, it was a heart-warming moment for entire the team. Emotions were running high as they had to say goodbye to each other and the set. The entire team of Sona Roder Gaan celebrated the last day of shooting on the set by cutting a small cake. 

Well, it is a remake of Hindi TV show 'Thoda Sa Badal Thoda Sa Pani' which featured actors Ishita Dutta, Karan Suchak, and Harshad Arora in lead roles. 

Payal De paired up with Rishi Kaushik for the first time through this show and the new on-screen pairing has also been appreciated by the audience and makers. Interestingly, Rishi Kaushik who earlier played the role of a doctor in 'Ekhane Akash Neel (season 1)' is seen once again as a medical practitioner in this show.
