Writwik Mukherjee pairs up with Arunima Haldar for a TV serial

Both Writwik Mukherjee and Arunima Haldar are popular names among Bengali audiences. Arunima Haldar became a household name for playing Borfi in Star Jalsha's 'Aay Tobe Sohochori', on the other side, Writwik Mukherjee earned popularity by playing Satyaki in Zee Bangla's 'Ei Poth Jodi Na Sesh Hoy'. And now these popular stars will be seen opposite each other in a brand-new television drama that will air on Zee Bangla.

Zee Bangla's new drama series 'Mon Dite Chai' will have a new pair of Writwik Mukherjee and Arunima Haldar. Although it's a working title and may be changed in the future. Speaking about the story, it revolves around four sisters and Arunima will be one of them. 

In Arunima's words, this character will be completely opposite that she played in her previous show 'Aay Tobe Sohochori'. Earlier she was seen as a cheerful girl and in the new serial Arunima's character is calm and disciplined. She will start shooting for her new venture from December and the show is likely to start from this new year.

Meanwhile, the channel has already announced several new shows. Sweta Bhattacharya and Honey Bafna-Starrer drama series 'Sohag Jol' starts from Today (28th November). Swastika Dutta's new serial 'Tomar Khola Hawa' starts on 12th December. Apart from these two, the channel is also going to launch a new show titled Ranga Bou, Starring Gourab Roy Choudhary, and Shruti Das.
