Actress Jasmine Roy, who was last seen in 'Amar Sona Chander Kona' has bagged a new role in a popular show of Star Jalsha. The charming actress has got a new role in Gourab Chatterjee and Solanki Roy starrer show Gaatchora. Recently, the show has welcomed a new character into the story where Jasmine Roy will be seen in a grey-shaded role. 

Jasmine Roy, who is mostly known for playing negative roles on the small screen was last seen in a positive role opposite Ravi Shaw in 'Amar Sona Chander Kona'. It's been four months; the show concluded its journey on TV. Jasmine's fans were also waiting to see their favorite star on screen again. However, they did not have to wait long.

Actress Jasmine Roy will be seen playing a negative role named Taani opposite Gourab Chatterjee in Gaatchora. It seems Jasmine Roy's character will create some new complications in Khori and Riddhi's life.

Taking to Instagram, Jasmine Roy shared the news about her new venture with fans. In a conversation with Anandabazar Patrika, Jasmine Roy said 'I always wanted to be a heroine. But staying without work is very difficult for me. And apart from that, Taani's character is also great. There is a mystery, so it feels good. And there is no competition with Solanki. I will definitely do it if I get a lead role in the future.
