TV show 'Uron Tubri' to end its journey

In the last few weeks, several Bengali TV series concluded their journey on TV earlier than expected. Popular shows like Mon Phagun, Pilu, and Lalkuthi have ended their journey ahead of expectation. Even the newly launched show 'Madhabilata' is also going off air soon. And now one more drama series 'Uron Tubri' has been added to the list. According to the latest updates, Sohini Banerjee and Swastik Ghosh starrer show 'Uron Tubri' is going off air soon.

The show was launched on 28 March 2022. After 10 months of journey, the makers have decided to quit the show. 'Uron Tubri' features Swastik Ghosh and Sohini Banerjee as the lead pair. While Sohini Banerjee is already a household name among audiences, model-turned-actor Swastik Ghosh made his television debut with this show. Apart from the lead pair, the show also features popular faces like Laboni Sarkar, Soume Chatterjee, Rii Sen, Rimjhim Mitra, and Abhijit Guha in prominent roles.

The lead actress Sohini Banerjee, who plays the titular role in 'Uron Tubri' confirmed the news. Banerjee said, 'Yes, I have heard the news about this, but can't tell which is the last day of shooting for the show.' 

The same channel has several new shows to launch including a reality show. The channel has already announced several new drama series titled Tomar Khola Hawa, Ranga Bou, and an untitled series where Writwik Mukherjee and Arunima Haldar can be seen as the lead pair.
