Actor-Producer Dev got his heroine for his next film 'Bagha Jatin'

Arun Roy's Bagha Jatin, starring Dev in lead role is one of the much-awaited films in 2023. On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day (2022), Actor-Producer Dev and filmmaker Arun Roy joined hands and announced the film. Since then, audiences are eagerly waiting to see Dev as & in 'Bagha Jatin'. After playing Shankar Ray Choudhuri in Chander Pahar, and Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari in Golondaaj, the versatile actor will be seen as Bagha Jatin aka Jatindranath Mukherjee. And Arun Roy, who directed films like Hiralal, Egaro, and 8/12 Binay Badal Dinesh will direct 'Bagha Jatin' where superstar Dev will essay the titular role.

As the makers have not revealed the cast, fans are curious to know who the female lead opposite Dev in 'Bagha Jatin' will be. It is also said that Dev and his team were looking for a new face for the film. There have been a lot of auditions and finally, the wait is over. Dev got his heroine for his much-awaited film where he will be seen in the role of Jatindranath Mukherjee aka Bagha Jatin.

Sreeja Dutta, who is an engineering student has been selected for Arun Roy's Bagha Jatin out of about six thousand fresh talents. Another interesting part is, Rohaan Bhattacharjee who is also one of the popular faces in Bengali TV industry will be seen playing a key role alongside Dev. Director Arun Roy will start shooting for 'Bagha Jatin' from February this year.
