Actress Mimi Dutta to play a meaty role in 'Meyebela' Serial

Actress Mimi Dutta, who was last seen in Zee Bangla's show Pilu, has bagged yet a new show. She will soon be seen in Star Jalsha's new show titled 'Meyebela'. Mimi Dutta is likely to play a positive character in her new show 'Meyebela' co-starring Roopa Ganguly and Swikriti Majumder among others.

Mimi Dutta has shared the news about her new project with fans on her social media hands. Taking to Instagram, Mimi shared the news on stories. Mimi Dutta has been roped in the role of Gunja where Swikriti Majumder will play Mou and Roopa Ganguly will essay Bithi. Veteran actress Chitra Sen, who has worked in several television dramas and films including Indrani Halder starrer show Sreemoyee, will be seen in a key role in 'Meyebela'.

Speaking about the show, the women-centric drama features Roopa Ganguly in the role of a housewife, who dedicated her life for the well-being of her family where actress Swikriti Majumder will be seen as Roopa Ganguly's reel daughter-in-law.

Mimi Dutta acted in several popular television dramas like ''Dwiragaman'', ''Alor Basha'', ''Bhootu'', ''Goyenda Ginni'', ''Joyee'', ''Kache Aye Shoi'', ''Maharaj Sri Krishna'', ''Potol Kumar Gaanwala''and ''Ranu Pelo Lottery'' including ''Pilu''.  

Mimi Dutta is also starring in hoichoi's web series 'Indu' season 2 where Ishaa Saha will play the titular role. Directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee, the thriller series will be streaming from 20th January on hoichoi.
