Actress Roosha Chatterjee all set to get hitched with Anuran Roy Chowdhury

Actress Roosha Chatterjee, who acted in several television dramas including Tomay Amay Mile and Ogo Bodhu Sundori, is all set to get hitched soon. On January 19, Roosha Chatterjee is set to tie the knot with Anuran Roy Chowdhury, who is a software engineer by profession. Although Roosha Chatterjee's fiancée belongs to Kolkata, he lives abroad due to work. And after marriage, Rusha Chatterjee will leave her hometown and go abroad.

She has not been seen on screen much in the past few years. Roosha Chatterjee was last seen in a popular mythological show called Mahapeeth Tarapeeth starring Sabyasachi Chowdhury and Nabanita Das in lead roles. However, the actress is now all set to start a new lifestyle with her hubby. 

In a conversation with Anandabazar Patrika, Roosha confirmed the news and said, 'Yes, the wedding is next week. We have been talking for the past eight months. And eventually, we fell in love with each other.' When Chatterjee was asked about her acting career, she replied, 'I have been associated with the industry for 13 years. Now I am moving to a new county and want to start a new life in a new way. I haven't thought about my career yet.'

On the career front, Roosha became a household name for playing Ushoshi in 'Tomay Amay Mile' where Gourab Roy Chowdhury played the male lead opposite her. Prior to 'Tomay Amay Mile', Chatterjee played a key role opposite Rajdeep Gupta and Ritabhari Chakraborty in Star Jalsha's serial 'Ogo Bodhu Sundori'. Apart from all these shows, she played a pivotal role in Indrani Haldar starrer show Sreemoyee.
