Adrija Addy Roy to make her debut in Hindi Serial with 'Dura Aur Charu'

Bengali actress Adrija Addy Roy, who has been a part of several dramas including 'Mou Er Bari' has bagged a new show. The charming actress is all set to make her debut on national television with a drama series titled 'Durga aur Charu'. The talented actress has been roped in the role of Charu in Colors TV's show 'Durga aur Charu'.

Yes, you read that right. Adrija Addy Roy will be seen in one of the titular roles in 'Durga aur Charu' which also stars Rachi Sharma and Mohit Kumar in lead roles. While Adrija will play the role of Charu, Rachi Sharma will essay Durga. On the other side, Mohit Kumar will play the male lead and Riya Shukla will be seen in a negative lead in the show. 

Sharing her excitement about the Hindi project, Adrija told Anandabazar Patrika, 'I feel very good. Initially, I was supposed to work on a Bengali serial under the same production company. But finally, they chose me for the role of 'Charu' in this Hindi serial. I have heard a lot about the struggle in Mumbai. But so far, my experience is good. We already finished the promo shoot and will start shooting the upcoming episodes very soon.

Speaking about Adrija Addy Roy, she is one of the popular faces among Bengali audiences. Besides television dramas, she has also been appreciated by producers for her performances in films like Parineeta. She was also a part of several television dramas like Potol Kumar Gaanwala, Durga Durgeswari, Mangal Chandi, etc. She was also featured in web series like Golper Maya Jaal, Dujone, and Bonyo Premer Golpo.
