Ahead of 'Daal Baati Churma (Chocchori)', Bonny Sengupta and Koushani Mukherjee have stepped forward for a musical drama that will be directed by Indraadip Dasgupta. Indraadip Dasgupta's next film 'Dear Diary' Stars Bonny Sengupta and Koushani Mukherjee in lead roles. It's a multi-starrer film that also features Somraj Maity, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, and Falaque Rashid Roy in other key roles. 

Speaking about the film, it tells a musical journey of three friends named Raj, Neel, and Chayan playing by Bonny Sengupta, Somraj Maity, and Rwitobroto Mukherjee. Music creates a strong bond between the three friends which leads them to form a rock band. But later due to some unfortunate circumstances their friendship broke, and they got separated. Raj later forms a new band with a guitarist from his college named Meghna (Falaque). Although Raj and Neel attend the same college, they are not interested in each other as before. But they keep in touch with their best friend Chayan, although none of them know that Chayan is suffering from a serious disease. On the other side, Sreeja meets Raj as she needs some information about the Bengali Band. The story takes a new turn from here and what happens next is the crux of the film.

Bonny Sengupta and Koushani Mukherjee have started a new journey as producer and their first venture 'Daal Baati Churma (Chocchori)' is also waiting for its theatrical release. Bonny Sengupta is also waiting for the release of his upcoming medical thriller suspense 'Doctor Bakshi’ which will hit the cinema halls on 20th January 2023. Directed by Saptaswa Basu, ‘Doctor Bakshi’ features Bonny Sengupta in a new avatar like never seen before. For the first time, Sengupta will be seen in a negative role where his co-stars are Parambrata Chatterjee and Subhashree Ganguly among others.
