Popular actress Manali Dey, who was last seen in Dhulokona, has bagged yet a new show. As per the recent buzz, Star Jalsha's upcoming drama series will feature Phuljhuri aka Manali Dey in the lead role. Manali Dey's last show Dhulokona concluded its journey on TV on 11th December, last year. And now it is heard in the industry that Manali Dey will soon be seen in a brand-new show on Star Jalsha.

There is also a rumor that actor Riju Biswas, who played the male lead opposite Manali Dey in 'Bou Kotha Kao' will be seen playing the male lead opposite Manali again on screen. So, if all goes according to this update, viewers will get to see the 'Bou Kotha Kao' duo again on screen.

Manali Dey and Riju Biswas both are popular faces among the audience. By playing Nikhil and Mouri (Mayurakshi), both have won the hearts of serial lovers. 'Bou Kotha Kao' premiered on January 5, 2009 and concluded its journey on 14th January 2012 after enjoying a successful journey of 3 years.

'Bou Kotha Kao' was the story of a simple village girl Mouri (Manali) and a city guy named Nikhil (Riju). Nikhil is forcefully married to Mouri. But Nikhil makes it very clear to Mouri that he will never share a husband–wife relationship as he is already in love with Neera. Nikhil's mother does not like Mouri anyway and tries to make Mouri's life difficult. However, as days pass Nikhil starts falling in love with Mouri. But Nikhil's mother hates her and forces her to leave the house. Later, Mouri puts up in a hostel and tutors Mili in order to earn a living. Mili's father Sagar Sen, a famous choreographer, helps Mouri to become a dancing sensation. After learning about Mouri's stardom, Nikhil's family welcomes her back into their home and the series got its happy ending.
