Debchandrima and Pratik Sen Starrer Show 'Shaheber Chithi' to end its journey

Bengali TV show 'Shaheber Chithi' starring Debchandrima Singha Roy and Pratik Sen as lead pair, is going to end its journey soon. Sources suggest the drama series will end in the last week of January. 

The TV show 'Shaheber Chithi' featuring Debchandrima Singha Roy and Pratik Sen as lead pair revolves around Saheb (Pratik) a famous singer and an icon of Bengal, while Chithi (Debchandrima), a sweet girl full of life is a postmaster. Chithi delivers letters, even though the world has become electronic, and the use of emails have risen considerably. Saheb loses his leg after an accident and decides to avoid the eyes of the public forever. Destiny brings these two souls face to face, and simple-hearted Chithi promises to help him lead a normal life. Slowly they fall in love with each other.

Debchandrima and Pratik Sen Starrer show 'Shaheber Chithi' which was launched on 27 June 2022 is ending within 6 months of airing. Although the series didn't get much love from the audience in the beginning, it has performed well in the TRP charts in the last few weeks. However, the new pair of Pratik Sen and Debchandrima Singha Roy could not make a mark in the hearts of the audience.

The channel has recently announced the telecast time of their new show 'Meyebela' which will take the slot of Alta Phoring. And as per the recent buzz, Debchandrima and Pratik Sen Starrer Serial 'Shaheber Chithi' will be replaced by Alta Phoring.
