Parambrata, Subhashree, and Bonny-Starrer film 'Doctor Bakshi' is set to hit the theaters on 20th January

After much delay, Saptaswa Basu's most-anticipated movie ‘Doctor Bakshi’ is finally set to hit the cinema halls on 20th January 2023. The film was supposed to hit the big screens on November 2022. But for some reason, the makers had to postpone the film. The makers also assured that the film won’t disappoint the fans. And finally, it is all set to entertain the audience. The medical crime thriller has a strong cast where we see Parambrata Chatterjee, Subhashree Ganguly, and Bonny Sengupta in lead roles. Apart from them, the film also stars Devtanu and Maahi Kaur in pivotal roles.

While Parambrata Chatterjee will play the principal character, Subhashree Ganguly will essay Mrinalini. Bonny Sengupta who is mostly known for playing protagonist, will be seen in a negative role for the first time.

Saptaswa Basu's previous film 'Pratidwandi' featured Saswata Chatterjee as Dr. Bakshi who serves justice in his own way exposing medical scams. Well, this film is not a sequel to 'Pratidwandi'. However, the path he chose didn’t look ethical. Saptaswa Basu's 'Doctor Bakshi' sees Mrinalini (Subhashree) attending a Poila Baisakh event at a heritage hotel. Aditya (Bonny) and Shraddha (Maahi) are also there. During her first night, while Mrinalini was covering the festival for her social media posts and vlogs, she gets involved in a murder mystery. And then comes Doctor Bakshi, an intelligent doctor, who tries to unfold the mystery. Will Mrinalini find a way out of this maze? The answer will be found on 20th January 2023.
