Finally, the wait is about to end. Abir Chatterjee and Ritabhari Chakraborty-Starrer film 'Fatafati' has got a release date. Directed by Aritra Mukherjee, the much-awaited film will hit the cinema halls this 12th May. Interestingly, Ritabhari Chakraborty and Abir Chatterjee will be paired for the first time through this film where Swastika Dutta, who is currently playing the female lead in Tomar Khola Hawa, will be seen playing a key role alongside them.
Taking to social media, the makers have shared the official poster for the film with the stars and revealed the release date for the film. The film was initially slated to release in the first week of March. However, the film has got a new release date and is set to entertain the audience with a new pairing of Abir Chatterjee and Ritabhari Chakraborty.
It's a story of a plus-size model who breaks all the stereotypes around how a woman's body should look like. While Ritabhari Chakraborty will be seen in the role of a plus-size model, Swastika Dutta will be seen as a slim-trim model opposite her. Another interesting fact is that the leading lady of the film, Ritabhari Chakraborty gained 25 kilos for her role which also impressed her fans and proves how much she can dedicate herself to the character she plays on screen.
