Anamika Chakraborty to play a key role in Phaguner Mohona

Actress Anamika Chakraborty, who was last seen on Zee Bangla's show Uron Tubri has bagged yet a new show. She will soon be seen in a brand-new drama titled Phaguner Mohona. Anamika Chakraborty will be seen playing a prominent role in her glam look in Phaguner Mohona, co-starring Annmary Tom and Siddharth Sen. 

In Phaguner Mohona, 'Gramer Rani Binapani' fame Annmary Tom will be seen in the female lead as Rumjhum and Siddharth Sen will be her love interest. On the other side, Anamika Chakraborty is likely to play a negative role opposite the lead pair Annmary Tom and Siddharth Sen. Apart from these stars, Phaguner Mohona cast includes some popular actors from the industry like Kaushik Banerjee, Sagnik Chatterjee, Chandreyee Ghosh, and Kanchana Moitra in pivotal roles. 

Speaking about the story, it revolves around Rumjhum, who leaves her village to meet her beloved superstar Ayush (Siddharth) even though she is just another face in the crowd to Ayush. Whether she succeeds in her mission and how she survives in the city forms the crux of the story.

Anamika became popular among Bengali audiences for playing Hiya in Ekhane Aakash Neel (2019). Anamika Chakraborty made her mark on the silver screen by playing Gulabi in Mandip Saha's film Ishkabon. She was also a part of popular shows like 'Mahapeeth Tarapeeth', 'Laalkuthi'. She acted in popular Bengali films like 'Aschhe Abar Shabor' and 'Tor Opekkhay'. Anamika also played the lead role opposite Soumya Mukherjee in Hoichoi's web series 'Holy Faak'
