Popular TV show Gaatchora to have a Telugu remake 

A number of Bengali TV series have been remade in other religious languages including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Recently, a popular Bengali drama series called Krishnakoli was remade in Malayalam with the titled Shyamambaram. Following the trend in mind, the makers from Telugu entertainment industry have decided to remake Solanki Roy and Gourab Chatterjee's show Gaatchora. Yes, you read that right! The brand-new Telugu drama series Brahmamudi Starring Maanas Nagulapalli, Deepika Rangaraju, Srikar Krishna, Hamida Khatoon, Kiran Kanth, and Nainisha Rai in lead roles is based on Gaatchora’s story. 

Solanki Roy and Gourab Chatterjee-starrer show Gaatchora was launched on 20 December 2021. The serial has received a rousing response from the audience since its inception and has become one of the most popular TV shows.

Speaking about the story of Gaatchora, it revolves around Khori (Solanki) and Riddhi (Gourab). Khori loves to do painting and works hard to make the ends meet. On the other hand, Riddhi aka Riddhiman Singha Roy is a successful businessman in the diamond business. Khori has two sisters Dyuti and Banhisikha. Though Dyuti is cute but a bit narcissistic, and Banhisikha is a total tomboy. Riddhiman also has two brothers, Rahul and Kunal. At a time, Riddhi falls in love with Dyuti, but she falls in love with Riddhi's brother Rahul. For some reason, Khori is forced to marry Riddhi and eventually they fall in love with each other.
