Abir-Mimi shares the first poster of their action thriller Raktabeej

Here's a good news for Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty fans. Last week it was reported that Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty have teamed up for a thriller film which is being directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy. And today, the makers have released a poster of the action thriller titled Raktabeej which will feature Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty in lead roles.

Taking to social media, the makers shared the poster of Raktabeej with the lead actors Mimi Chakraborty and Abir Chatterjee. As per the official post of Mimi Chakraborty, the film will hit the cinema halls on the occasion of Durga Puja this year. The film has an ensemble cast including Victor Banerjee, Anashua Majumdar, Debasish Mondal, Satyam Bhattacharya, Kanchan Mullick, and Ambarish Bhattacharya alongside Abir and Mini.

Speaking about the film, the makers said it is inspired by a true incident that shook the entire West Bengal. And most of the scenes of the film will be shot in Dhulagori, Bolpur, and Bantala. 'Windows Production', one of the leading film productions banners in the Bengali entertainment industry known for producing family drama films, is coming up with a thriller for the first time.
