Speaking about the film, it's set against the backdrop of 80s, with a political angle. The story revolves around a woman who rose from an ordinary housewife to a notorious female mafia gang leader in 'Shibpur' in the 80s. She ruled the region for a long time but then disappeared in the late 90s. The state government had appointed an IPS officer at that time to bring the law-and-order situation under control and ordered to arrest the woman gang leader at any cost. But when things were going on to catch her, she suddenly disappeared without a trace. Was she killed by her rivals or was there some dark political game behind her disappearance? This forms the crux of the story.
