| Actor Sayak Chakraborty bags a meaty role in 'Ramprasad' |
Popular actor Sayak Chakraborty, who has been a part of several television dramas including Goyenda Ginni, Sanjher Baati, and Mon Phagun has bagged a new show which premieres today (17th April). Yes, the young actor has been roped in a meaty role in Sabyasachi Chowdhury-Starrer show Ramprasad, which is slated to be telecast today.
Apart from Sabyasachi Chowdhury and Sayak Chakraborty, the show also stars Sushmili Acharjya and Payel De in pivotal roles. While Sabyasachi Chowdhury will play the titular role, Sushmili Acharjya will be seen as Saudamini opposite him. On the other side, Payel De will be seen as 'Maa Kali', and Sayak will be a key role alongside them.
Sayak Chakraborty took to his Instagram handle to share the news with fans. Taking to social media, Sayak shared his new look from his new show Ramprasad and shared the news with the world including fans. In the picture, Sayak is seen wearing a Golden Kurta Pajama and he also added a Tulasi mala to complete his traditional and mythological look.

Sayak made his television debut with 'Boyei Gelo' daily soap in 2013. He worked in 20 consecutive TV serials as a supporting cast. Except for the series mentioned above, he acted in several popular television dramas like Hoyto Tomari Jonyo, Naagleela, Maa Durga, Mahaprabhu Shree Chaitanya, Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni, Ami Sirajer Begum, Kapalkundala, Mahapeeth Tarapeeth, Kadambini Agnishikha, etc. And now he will be seen playing a prominent role in Star Jalsha's show Ramprasad.
