Bengalis have an undying love for detective stories. No matter how many detective books we read or watch movies and web series on detective stories, we Bengalis never get bored. And when it comes to Feluda, we are always ready to read books, listen to podcasts and watch movies or web series about Feluda and see how he solves the puzzles.
Keeping the audience's interest in mind, one of the celebrated filmmakers Arindam Sil is coming up with a new Feluda series titled 'Shabash Felud' in which the audience will get to see Parambrata Chattopadhyay as Prodosh Chandra Mitra [Mitter] aka Bengali's beloved Feuda. While the versatile actor Parambrata will be seen taking Feluda avatar, young actor Rwitobroto Mukherjee will be seen as Topshe aka Tapesh Ranjan Mitter. Apart from these two, the series also stars Rudranil Ghosh, Ritwick Chakraborty, Sauraseni Maitra, and Debopriyo Mukherjee in other pivotal roles.
The official announcement was made by 'ZEE5 Bangla' official page. Taking the social media, the makers shared a poster and announced the release date of the series. Directed by Arindam Sil, 'Shabash Feluda' will be streaming from 5th of May on ZEE5 OTT platform.

However, Param is a modern Feluda this time while the adapted story is set in 2017. Feluda now uses a smartphone and a smartwatch. Arindam Sil's 'Shabash Feluda' follows Feluda and Topshe in Gangtok on a family trip. They meet Shasadhar Bose who urges Feluda to investigate the sudden death of his business partner Selbhankar. Feluda gets involved and soon smells of foul play. He realizes that the whole mystery revolves around an ancient Yamantaka artifact, which has a secret message inside. How Feluda unmasks the culprit by revealing the truth is the crux of the series.
