After Byomkesh, Abir Chatterjee to play a new detective character in Debaloy Bhattacharya's film

Abir Chatterjee, who is known for playing Bengali's favorite sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi on screen, will be seen in a new detective character like never seen before. Bengali audiences will discover Abir Chatterjee, known as Byomkesh on screen, as a new detective directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, who recently directed the Subhashree Ganguly-starrer web series ''Indubala Bhaater Hotel''.

Abir Chatterjee has created a soft corner among the Bengali audience by playing the role of Byomkesh Bakshi on screen. And his charismatic presence and undeniable talent have made him the preferred choice for directors and producers for the silver screen for a detective character, winning over both audiences and industry insiders. We have already seen him as Bengali's favorite Byomkesh Bakshi and Sona Da aka Subarna Sen in Dhrubo Banerjee's Guptodhon franchise.

And this time, the ''Indubala Bhaater Hotel'' director is going to make a film on Shri Swapankumar-er Badami Hyena’r Kobole where Abir Chatterjee will be seen in a new detective character. Bengali audiences who love to watch detective thrillers will get another detective Deepak Chatterjee with this film.

It is the first film of Hoichoi Studios – a new wing of the OTT platform for theatrical releases. It is also known that Veteran actor Paran Bandyopadhyay will be seen playing a pivotal role in this film and the shooting will start this May. The film is slated for a theatrical release this Kali Puja.
