Popular TV actress Idhika Paul, who has been a part of several television drama series including Rimli and Pilu, has bagged a movie where she will be seen opposite Shakib Khan. Rumors were rife in the industry for the past few days about it and now the actress herself has confirmed it. In an interview, Idhika Paul clarified that she will be seen opposite Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan in her next film titled "Priyatama"
In a conversation with Anandabazar Patrika, Idhika Paul said that this opportunity came to her suddenly. Shakib Khan's team from Bangladesh contacted her. She liked the story and agreed. Idhika also said that it is not like she chose Bangladeshi film as her first film, she also worked in a few in Kolkata before. However, the actress has not yet said anything about it.
''Besides films, I will also continue to work in television. I started my career with television so I have never forgotten about TV and would love to act on TV if someone comes up with a good character'' Idhika added.
The actress will fly to Bangladesh on the 10th May and join the shooting sets the day after arrival.
Talking about Idhika Paul, she is one of the popular faces among the Bengali audiences these days. She was last seen in Zee Bangla's show Pilu. Apart from Pilu, Idhika acted in many popular shows like Arabbya Rajani, Kapalkundala, and Rimli including Pilu.
