Rukmini Maitra to play Satyavati opposite Dev in Birsa Dasgupta's Byomkesh O Durga Rahasya

Here is some big news for Dev and Rukmini Maitra fans and those who love to see their chemistry on screen. Over the past few weeks, there have been several buzzes in the industry on who will be seen playing the role of Satyavati opposite Dev in the much-awaited film Byomkesh O Durga Rahasya. And today all the rumors have come to an end as the glimpse from the Mahurat of 'Byomkesh O Durga Rahasya' has come out.

It was earlier reported that Dev will be seen playing Byomkesh in Birsa Dasgupta's Byomkesh O Durga Rahasya and now it has also been confirmed that Rukmini Maitra will be seen as Satyavati opposite Dev in the film.

Taking to social media, the makers of the much-awaited detective thriller shared some pictures from the Mahurat moment.

On such a festive occasion of Poila Baisakh, Dev revealed his look as Satyanweshi Byomkesh Bakshi and it received both positive and negative responses from the audience. While a section of netizens trolled the actor, fans wished the actor 'good luck' for his versatility which he has shown in his previous movies.

The movie was announced by Dev himself on January 28, 2023. The 'Projapati' actor celebrated 17 years of his journey in the industry by announcing the movie though he did not reveal the cast then. Well, the rest of the cast is yet to be announced.
